About me

My name is Dorka Limburger, and I am the ALIGNED
its creator.

I believe that the best way we can contribute to the world is by being happy in our own lives.

This isn't selfishness; it's responsibility.

To do this, however, we need to become aware of and break free from the deeply ingrained patterns that unconsciously shape our decisions, our relationships, and the way we relate to ourselves.

My Journey

18 years of competitive sports, coaching, and mentoring

Over the course of 18 years of competitive sports, I’ve come to know the deepest parts of myself. Elite sports have taught me that performance isn’t just a physical matter.

Our greatest enemies often live within us.

Lack of Self-Confidence | Desire to Fit In | Fear of Failure

In addition to competing, I worked as a coach and sports mental trainer. As I worked with more and more people, it became increasingly clear to me that it’s not performance that truly interests me, but the person themselves—what drives us, what holds us back, and how we can achieve real, lasting change.

A certain kind of feeling has accompanied me throughout my entire life search.

I've always felt that there is an even deeper layer—both within myself and within the people I've worked with. I wanted not only to understand how we operate, but also to support real, profound change.

The Turning Point

Respiratory Therapy

I've read hundreds of books on self-awareness and learned about numerous methods, yet I still felt that my body continued to hold onto everything I had long since understood in my mind.

Breathing therapy was ultimately the turning point. Even the very first breathing therapy session brought about a breakthrough that I hadn't been able to achieve in three years of talk therapy.

That was when I truly understood that our experiences are preserved not only by our thoughts but also by our bodies.

In breathwork, I didn't discover a new method, but rather the missing link I had been searching for throughout my entire journey up to that point.

The Way I Work

My Perspective

As a coach and sports mental trainer, I’ve learned to read between the lines—to intuit exactly what a person needs at any given moment to bring out the best in themselves. Sometimes it’s a new perspective; other times, it’s simply having someone there who’s truly present and paying attention.

I bring this attention to detail and this mindset to every process at ALIGNED as well.
